All-Wheel Drive

Regenerative Braking
Your ID.4 is always hard at work behind the scenes, maximizing its range by converting braking energy into useful battery power. Whenever you brake or take your foot off the pedal, the ID.4 can store that kinetic energy for later. How’s that for efficiency? -
Battery
The 2024 ID.4 offers a 62kWh battery in a Rear-Wheel Drive configuration; however, if ‘go big or go home’ is your default mode, then the upgraded 82 kWh battery with All-Wheel Drive and an all-new Performance Drive Unit is available to outfit the ID.4 for even greater performance. -
Charging
On a basic home outlet, you can charge up to 5km an hour while plugged in.
Most EV owners opt for installing a level 2 240v home charging station which will charge a 62kWh from zero-100%* in about 8.1 hours for a 62 kWh battery and 10.7 hours for a 82kWh battery.

Heat Pump
In the new, fully electric ID.4, an optional heat pump ensures energy-efficient and environmentally friendly heating of the interior. This requires less power from the battery. The benefit? Greater range in cold weather. -
Towing
With a towing capacity of up to 2,700 lbs for All-Wheel Drive (braked), the ID.4 has enough power to tow whatever you need for your next adventure.
Plus, with the All-Wheel Drive trim, you’ll get a standard hitch mount for towing as well – oh yes, it’s tow time.

Fixed Glass Sunroof
The ID.4’s expansive available panoramic glass roof lets light in while offering a sweeping view of the sky. If it ever feels too sunny, just activate the electric sunshade with the touch of a button. -
Wheels
It’s only fitting that an electric SUV like the ID.4 has wheels as impressive as its frame. That’s why the ID.4 and Pro come standard with 19” Drammen wheels that maximize its capabilities, while the Pro AWD comes with standard Electra wheels. Additionally, on the ID.4 and Pro you can upgrade to the Lumen or Electra 20” wheel to make a bigger statement on the road, while the Narvik 21” wheel is available for the Pro AWD. -
Available Illuminated Light Bar
An intuitive light bar called the ID. Light runs across the dashboard and displays key information for you. It uses glowing visual cues to signal incoming calls, brake warnings, charge status, and more. -
Ambient Lighting
Make your ID.4 match your mood with an available ambient interior lighting package. From blue to red or green, choose from up to 30 available colours that'll help set the vibe in your ID.4 to just the way you like it. -

FAQs
Yes! The ID.4 currently qualifies for the federal iZEV rebate of $5,000. Depending on the province in which you live, you may be eligible to receive additional incentives. These include, but are not limited to, up to $4,000* from British Columbia’s Go Electric BC Program (available on the ID.4 base trim only) or as much as $7,000 from Quebec’s Roulez Vert program.
